The 2018 TRES Cardboard STEM Challenge is on again! If you accept the challenge, you get to use your imagination and engineering know-how to design and build a project out of cardboard and other recycled materials such as paper towel rolls, cereal boxes, egg cartons, and lots of tape! Your imagination is the limit in your project. You can work alone, with a friend, or make it a family project. If you participated last year, create something new and different!
On Thursday, February 15, 2018, TRES will hold the second annual Cardboard Challenge Night from 6:30 to 8 pm. Bring your finished projects to the school gym or cafeteria to display, share, and play with other participants. Your projects should fit in a 30-inch by 36-inch space so that we have enough room for all of the wonderful ideas - but please don’t use food or drink as prizes in your project.
