TRES Retriever Report May 29, 2026

Message from Dr. TRESler and Mr. Hiel:

Dear Retriever Families,

As we wind down the last part of the school year, our students are finishing up the Zones of Regulation Curriculum and are putting all they have learned into practice. You can view the last two concepts in the Bridge to Home Concept 9 and Concept 10 Connections linked below. Thank you for your support of this school-wide social/emotional learning this school year. We look forward to revisiting and refreshing the learning topics next year.

It's hard to believe that our last regular Retriever Report for the school year will be the next one on Friday, June 12th. These next three weeks will go by quickly with so much to still accomplish. We look forward to seeing families at our upcoming chorus concert, 5th grade promotion, and kindergarten show.

Counselors' Corner - A Message from Mrs. Wolf and Ms. Diaz
With June right around the corner and the final stretch of the school year in sight, this is a good time to have an intentional conversation with your Retriever(s) about the importance of finishing the year strongly, showing self-control and respect. Yes, students KNOW the expectations and rules, but putting them into action despite the hype of the year wrapping up shows strong character and determination.  This is also a great time for reflection, looking back at growth and academic achievement while looking forward to new challenges. Try: "What is something that was hard for you at the beginning of the year, but is easier for you now?"  "What is something from this year that makes you proud of your effort?"  "What is one way you helped make the school community a nicer place for you/others?"  "In what ways do you hope to continue growth?"  (This is a great time for the grown-ups to look back too! ) 🙂
