Counselors' Corner -  A Message from Mrs. Wolf and Ms. Diaz
Have you heard about the big snowstorm?  From now until the beginning of winter break, TRES is in the midst of a Blizzard of Belonging! Aside from our usual treasure tickets aimed at reinforcing positive behavior, choices, and effort, students are currently receiving special acknowledgement for demonstrating empathy and inclusion.  When a student is spotted, a special snowflake is earned and added to a team blizzard display (with a chance to earn a small prize before the break).  It's heart-warming to see the "belonging" snowflakes accumulating!  Remember, showing kindness is always cool.

Additionally, the latest TRESmission video has been viewed in homeroom classes, but you can also cozy up to watch together as a family.  It's a great way to join in the celebration of our November Retriever Award recipients, hear about strategies for classroom engagement, and enjoy footage of activities/events from around the building.  You won't want to miss seeing our latest staff 'movie stars' (and many fourth/fifth grade students, too!)  Enjoy!
