Message from Dr. TRESler and Mr. Hiel:
Dear Retriever Families,
It’s hard to believe that it’s May already and we are full swing into the last marking period of the 2024-2025 school year! May and June bring many spring and end of the year events, such as concerts, 5th grade promotion, field day and the PTA Retriever Rally. Please ensure that you are reading the messages sent from the TRES school messenger and your child’s teacher to stay up-to-date with all of our events and activities. We are looking forward to ending the year strong and TREaSuring these last several weeks with the students.
Warm Regards,
Dr. Tiffany TRESler, Principal
Kory Hiel, Assistant Principal

Field Day Next Friday, May 9th
We are excited for Field Day! Thank you in advance to all our volunteers who are essential to making this day a success! Some important reminders:
- Our fields will be WET in the morning! Your child should wear athletic shoes that can get muddy. Please pack an extra pair of shoes and socks. We also encourage you to pack an extra set of clothes. Dress in layers as it will be cooler in the morning.
- Parent Volunteers: Bring your IDs and have them ready for quicker check in.
- Parking: Do not block the bus loop at TRES or FQMS. Do not block our neighbors’ driveways or park on their grass. The overflow parking field may be muddy; be aware so you do not get stuck if you park there.
- Teachers will have sign-out sheets in their classrooms for parent volunteers who are signing out their children before our official dismissal.
- If you did not pre-order a lunch, send your student with a lunch and labeled water bottle.

Counselors' Corner - A Message from Mrs. Wolf and Ms. Diaz
Did you know that May is "National Children's Mental Health Awareness" month? Many factors influence a child's well-being and ability to thrive, such as developing strong family/community relationships, learning how to explore and manage emotions, building self-awareness, and developing healthy coping mechanisms. ALL YEAR LONG, through classroom lessons, monthly TRESmission videos, and other initiatives, we have been actively sharing mental wellness strategies, coping tips, and healthy best practices.
On Friday May 16, students are encouraged to WEAR GREEN to show support and raise awareness of the importance of every child's mental health. This is the same day as an early dismissal and the Retriever Rally Luau. (Both great for experiencing fun, connections, laughter, and mental wellness!)
