Tiffany Tresler

I would like to extend a warm welcome to the Triadelphia Ridge Elementary School (TRES) community. I am excited and honored to serve the students, staff, and families at TRES! As an educator, I believe that all students should have the opportunity to build a love and curiosity for learning each day. At TRES, the educators are committed to ensuring that all students feel a sense of belonging and inclusion, as we know that students must feel connected and comfortable before learning can occur. Maintaining a climate of positive collaborative relationships between and among staff and students is a priority. We are deeply dedicated to keeping our student TREaSures safe and ensuring their academic success. In my ninth year as the principal of TRES, I will continue to listen, learn, and build relationships with all stakeholders. I joined Howard County Public Schools, as an elementary principal in February 2014. My background includes serving as an elementary assistant principal for three and one half years, providing teacher professional development and Title I grant management for two years, and working as an elementary classroom teacher for five years. I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, and a master's degree in school administration and supervision from Frostburg State University. In 2014, I earned a doctorate from the University of Maryland, College Park in educational leadership and policy studies.
