The pickAtime program will be open starting Thursday, January 28th at 10:00 AM for families with multiple children. For all other families, you will be able to begin scheduling on Saturday, January 30th. You will be able to access this program to schedule or cancel your appointments until Friday, Feburary 5th at 1:00 PM. After that date, please cancel or reschedule your appointments by calling Denise Snider at 410.313.2560. |

This year, in addition to monitoring student attendance, schools are being asked to collect more information about the student illness. As part of the Health Department's tracking of Influenza-like illness in Howard County, schools are required to report numbers of student illness and symptoms.
If your child is absent from school because of illness, please contact the school on the first day of the absence and provide the following information: * Your child's name * The date * Symptoms of influenza-like illness: i.e. fever greater than 100° F, cough, sore throat

The new system offers subscribers the option of receiving messages in three languages: English, Spanish, and simple Chinese. Korean will be available shortly. If you are interested in receiving messages in Korean, please sign up for English messages and we will alert you when Korean becomes available. |
