I would like to extend a warm welcome to Triadelphia Elementary School. I am excited and honored to serve the students, staff, and families at TRES! As an educator, I believe that all students should have the opportunity to build a love and curiosity for learning each day. I know that students need to feel both emotionally and physically safe in order to learn; therefore I value the education and care of the whole child. As the new principal, my first priority at TRES will be to listen, learn, and build positive collaborative relationships with all stakeholders. I joined Howard County Public Schools, as an elementary principal in February 2014. My background includes serving as an elementary assistant principal for three and one half years, providing teacher professional development and Title I grant management for two years, and working as an elementary classroom teacher for five years. I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, and a master's degree in school administration and supervision from Frostburg State University. In 2014, I earned a doctorate from the University of Maryland, College Park in educational leadership and policy studies. Parents are encouraged to visit, call, or email (tiffany_tresler@hcpss.org) with any questions, comments, or feedback. I look forward to partnering with you to make this your child's best year yet! Greetings! I am excited to introduce myself as the Assistant Principal of Triadelphia Ridge Elementary School. I grew up in Howard County and attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Go Terps!). I then earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Administration through McDaniel College. This will be my 13th year as an educator in Howard County, having served at Gorman Crossing and Swansfield Elementary Schools. In addition to being a classroom teacher, I had the unique experience of being a Title I Intervention Teacher before moving into my role as Assistant Principal at Swansfield Elementary four years ago. I look forward to meeting each and every one of you and working with Dr. Tresler and the TRES staff and community in order to best serve and benefit our students. Please do not hesitate to contact me throughout the year with questions or concerns. I can be reached by phone (410) 313-2560 or by email at heather_moraff@hcpss.org.
