I would like to extend a warm welcome to the Triadelphia Ridge Elementary School (TRES) community. I am excited and honored to serve the students, staff, and families at TRES! As an educator, I believe that all students should have the opportunity to build a love and curiosity for learning each day. At TRES, the educators are committed to ensuring that all students feel a sense of belonging and inclusion, as we know that students must feel connected and comfortable before learning can occur. Maintaining a climate of positive collaborative relationships between and among staff and students is a priority. We are deeply dedicated to keeping our student TREaSures safe and ensuring their academic success. In my sixth year as the principal of TRES, I will continue to listen, learn, and build relationships with all stakeholders. I joined Howard County Public Schools, as an elementary principal in February 2014. My background includes serving as an elementary assistant principal for three and one half years, providing teacher professional development and Title I grant management for two years, and working as an elementary classroom teacher for five years. I received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania, and a master's degree in school administration and supervision from Frostburg State University. In 2014, I earned a doctorate from the University of Maryland, College Park in educational leadership and policy studies. Parents are encouraged to visit, call, or email (tiffany_tresler@hcpss.org) with any questions, comments, or feedback. I look forward to partnering with you to make this your child's best year yet! Greetings! I am thrilled to continue to serve the TRES community in my seventh year as Assistant Principal of Triadelphia Ridge Elementary School. I grew up in Howard County and attended the University of Maryland, College Park, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education (Go Terps!). I then earned a Master's Degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Administration through McDaniel College. This will be my 15th year as an educator in Howard County, having served at Gorman Crossing and Swansfield Elementary Schools. In addition to being a classroom teacher, I had the unique experience of being a Title I Interventionist before moving into my role as Assistant Principal at Swansfield Elementary 7 years ago. I look forward to strengthening my relationships and connections with each and every one of you and your children. I am personally committed to making sure each one of our students and families feels a sense of belonging in our school community.
