Our March Madness at TRES continued through this past week! Students have had the daily opportunity to be the Basketball Winner of the Day for showing our 4 Treasured Traits. On Friday April 12th we had a school-wide bingo game to celebrate and have fun as a school community, before heading into spring break. Our initiative for our March Madness is to assist students in recharging and refining during this time of the year where it can be difficult to feel motivated. Our school community looks forward to spring break as a time to refresh and finish out the remainder of the school year. Signs and symptoms of a “low battery” in your student may look like: anger/easily frustrated, exhaustion/low energy, or sadness/increase in emotional outbursts. These symptoms could be a sign that your student needs the opportunity to recharge their battery. Some ways for your child to recharge now include:

Our monthly character focus is the “U” in TREASURE which stands for: Unique and Proud. This has been a great source of conversation in discussing how we are each beautifully unique. Some ways in which we are discussing our uniqueness is in our family-make up, our family names, our culture, and what these mean to us.
