TRES Retriever Report June 7, 2024

Fri, 06/07/2024 - 10:09am

Message from Dr. TRESler and Mr. Hiel:

Dear Retriever Families,

It has been an AMAZING 25th school year at TRES, and it’s hard to believe it’s coming to a close! We would like to thank our parents, volunteers, PTA, partners, staff, and our students for all you do to make Triadelphia Ridge an amazing community. We are looking forward to working this summer to plan for another great school year! Watch for our back to school summer edition of the Retriever Report around Aug. 3rd. Mark your calendars now for our back to school events in August and September.

The TRES school office will be open in the summer, but please remember there will be many times when only one person will be covering the office. With the front office and main phone line moved to the portable, there will be instances when we will be taking care of something in the building. If you call for assistance and no one answers, please email us: carolyn_toland@hcpss.org; tiffany_tresler@hcpss.org; kory_hiel@hcpss.org. Please note that Mr. Hiel will be on paternity leave for the month of July.

We are excited for our last week of school and the clap out celebration next week! Please note, due to space constraints, parents are not able to visit the clap out or the school after 11:30 a.m. on the last day of school.

Wishing you all a safe and joyful summer!

Warmly,
Dr. Tiffany TRESler, Principal
Kory Hiel, Assistant Principal

News and Information

Family Tech Talk Internet Safety Night
Back in April, our school had its first ever Family Tech Talk Internet Safety night hosted by experts from Trend Micro. Thank you to the families that were able to attend. We know that many families were interested in receiving access to the recording, and we have finally received one. If you are interested in learning more about how to protect your child online and encourage discussions around internet safety and media balance, please view the following recording: Family Tech Talk. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Walker (Stacie_Walker@hcpss.org) or Mrs. Jenkins (Patricia_Jenkins@hcpss.org).

Collect All Student Materials By June 14 - Limited Building Access This Summer
TRES families, please note that our school front office will be closed immediately following the last day of school as the roof replacement that began last summer continues and will affect the front part of the building. Administration will be relocating to the portable classroom space and have limited access to the building. For this reason, we cannot hold any student materials that are not collected by the last day of school. Please ensure you have all your student’s belongings by June 14 or earlier if you will be traveling prior to this date.

Health Room News - Medication Pick Up
If your child has medication in the health room at TRES, it must be picked up by June 14th, no later than 1:00 p.m.  Please contact the Health Room at 410-313-2562 to arrange for pick-up.  Staff will dispose of any medications remaining after this time.
